Extreme Couponing: When Need to Save Goes Too Far

The Learning Channel (TLC) will be premiering a new show called “Extreme Couponing” on Wednesday 12/29 at 8pm ET (7pm here in Chicago)!


Here is my thought about this show:


I think that this show will highlight the good the bad and the ugly when it comes to people who use coupons. I must say that some of the transcripts and videos that I have read and watched have shocked me. When you watch this, please do not think that all people who use coupons are extreme. I will say that I am a heaver coupon user and will go after a GREAT deal, but I do not and will not dumpster dive to get coupons. I do not have a garage full of items or have over 3,000 rolls of toilet tissue. That is EXTREME!!!


I ask that you look at the show and view the “Power of the Coupon”. Coupons have helped me save so much and spread my income into areas that I was never able to tap into before. In 2011, I will continue to teach coupon skills to people who want to learn, I will also share my stockpile with my friends and family members and I will give back more.
